Fortis (v2)
Fortis is a Sub 250 gram, Nano Unmanned Air System, designed and manufactured in the UK, which is a man portable, rapidly deployable and simple to use tactical asset. It features a high resolution EO camera, optional IR camera and adaptable modular payload options enabling the operator to dynamically adapt the system in support of the situation.
Fortis requires minimal input from the operator to conduct pre-planned or ad-hoc missions, whilst allowing the operator dynamic control to permit more detailed observation of points of interest or to operate any of the installed payloads.
Fortis can be utilised indoors or outdoors and can operate in difficult and congested environments while withstanding winds beyond 12m/s. Due to its very small footprint (SWaP) air vehicle (<250gm.) and its associated Ground Control Station, it can be deployed on foot or from a vehicle.
